No need to make a reservation, we’ve plenty of indoor and outdoor seating here at The Stables. We are also able to take a limited number of reservations each day, please email hello@orleanshousecafe.co.uk up to 48 hours before the date of your visit, or fill out our quick enquiry form on the right hand side of this page and we’ll get right back to you!
Well behaved dogs are very welcome.
Planning An Event?
There are three magnificent event spaces at Grade I listed Orleans House Gallery where we are the preferred onsite caterer. We also offer private hire of our own café space. Outside seating in the courtyard
You’ll find delicious all day brunch options, soups and sourdough toasties on the menu and we are also a beautiful spot from which to grab your morning coffee and a freshly baked pastry (or an excellent bacon bap!), or to stock up on afternoon tea and cake for a walk by the river.
Artisan Coffee
Our trained baristas use Curious Roo coffee beans, roasted in Ealing. If you’re a fan of the Artisan coffee shops run by Curious Roo’s founders Edwin & Magda (in Sheen, Putney & Chiswick) you will know how good the beans are!

Delicious Food-to-Go
From delicious brunch baps, with Cacklebean Eggs & Dry Cured Bacon and the finest Cumberland sausages, to our house-made soups and ingredient-packed sourdough toasties, you will find something on our menu to tickle your tastebuds during your walks to Orleans House Gallery and the riverside.
Scrumptious home baking
All our delicious cakes are created from scratch at our bakery by chefs Frank, Ana and their talented team.
Craft Beer & Wine
Our team carefully selects all our wine and beer, and from November to early January we serve mulled cider and wine too.
Teas, infusions and hot chocolates
We use Bellevue Teas and Infusions and delicious Green & Blacks hot chocolate (topped with whipped cream and marshmallows, if you like!). We do special kiddie versions for the little ones too. Oh and when it comes to speciality drinks with syrups, we design and create the syrups from scratch, so there are no synthetic tastes.
Jude’s Ice cream
Delicious British Ice cream straight from the rolling hills of the South Downs.

Orleans House Gallery
Take a stroll around historic Orleans House Gallery and admire the artwork and latest exhibition.
While you are there, why not pick-up a printed map of the #BiodanceWalk and explore a wonderful stretch of the River Thames, beginning by Orleans House Gallery and ending in the Diamond Jubilee Gardens. 30 or 50 minute walk options available.
Hammertons Ferry
Take the ferry across the River Thames to the South Bank near Ham House. This is the last remaining privately owned foot ferry on the Thames and it departs just down from the café, on the North Bank of Marble Hill.
It’s a short but fun hop across the river and if you have kids, it is a lovely mini-adventure in itself!
Energy to burn?
There is the kids playground just outside the walls of Orleans House, right by the river.
And if you fancy a big adventure, why not try paddle boarding and pop in for a warming hot chocolate afterwards.
